Tuesday Catchup

WIP

I've gone through a myriad of ups and downs the last several days. I was feeling pretty good about getting 6,000 words into my current WIP, and then decided it wasn't going at all the way I wanted it too. When I finally decided that I needed something totally different, it became clear as a bell, and I chucked it all out the window and started over. I'm now a little over 2,000 words into the story, but this is THE story that must be told. That makes me very happy, and I can't wait to keep adding more to the story.

KISSING

What do you think about kissing? Even typing that question makes me smile. There are so many ways to kiss. It is a language all its own. I was goofing around this weekend, and told hubs that all kisses must last ten seconds. Being the good sport that he is, he agreed. Do you know it is almost impossible not to laugh when you kiss after making an announcement like that? I think we are seriously creeping the teens out. Since you can't have too much laughter or kisses in your life, I think this is a good thing, huh? 

SEXUAL TENSION

On the matter of reading about kisses, I love the moment right before a kiss more than the actual act. That sexual tension that builds between two people grabs me. Of course, that made me change the 10 second rule the next day, and I said that we have to get as close to kissing without actually kissing...and then walk away. Yep, I have fun with hubs. :-)

THE CLEANING BUG

Do you ever notice when the weather changes for Fall, you want to clean and organize your house better? I rarely get that spring cleaning fever other people talk about, my urge to tidy is strictly reserved for cooler weather. The first good rain storm finds me getting the house in tiptop shape.
