What’s going on with you? Is everyone surviving the January blues?
When I was running around doing errands the other day, I noticed the street lights were on all day long. One of the drawbacks of living in the Pacific Northwest, I suppose. There wasn’t enough natural light to shut them off, and without any snow on the ground…the day was gray and depressing. I muddled through, and when I got home I turned on all the lights in the house. My little way of beating Mother Nature.
The revisions I’ve been working on forever are done. I sent them off to a beta reader, and will only have to go back through it one more time when I get it back. Then I need everyone to cross their fingers that my editor approves of the changes. At this point, I can’t see the storyline through the haze. lol It’s really hard, because I have the original storyline branded in my head. After a while I lose the ability to see what is down on paper. Sometimes, I think it would be simpler if you all can read my mind. Three bucks, and I’ll stick a special earbud in my ear, and you can listen, ‘kay?
This week, I’m struggling to get back on schedule. I’m forcing myself to start up my relationship with my treadmill again, since ignoring it since Christmas. I’ve also planned a blog tour, and updated my calendar. By this time next week, I won’t even remember running around, going crazy, and the lumps on my forehead from beating my head on the desk will be gone.
Bacon wrapped pineapple bites
Cut pineapple into bitesize chunks.
Wrap bacon around each piece of pineapple.
Put in oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
You can eat them hot or cold.
You can even fry the bacon (that’s how I prefer it), and then wrap the pineapple (use toothpicks to hold together), and then put them in the oven for a few minutes to heat it up. It goes over well at parties!
