Tuesday Catchup

Ack! I missed making a Tuesday Catchup post this morning. It’s 11:20pm, so I’m squeezing it in, and then I’m going to bed!

I’ve been living at my desk this week (and last). No. Seriously. I’ve been doing revisions, which has turned into a total rewrite. The good news is, I’m done. I still have to go through the manuscript, and clean it all up. Then there’s always the chance that I didn’t pull it off, and my editor will send me back in. I have to admit this is the hardest I have every worked on a story. It’s been exciting, frustrating, depressing, and surprisingly interesting. I have learned so much. What my editor has taught me is an incredible gift that will stick with me and touch every future story I write. Pretty cool, right?

Next week, I promise to make up for this short post. Hope you all are chugging along and getting through the January blahs. I’m starting to itch for spring. How about you? What’s spring like in your area?
